Grover Jay Long 1889 - 1963

The twin brother of Francis May and the 5th of 8 children of John Long and Ellen Armer, , Grover was the great-grandfather of Jay Hannah, was born in Jackson Twp, near Salem stub, Iowa on May 9, 1889 along with his twin sister Francis May and married Luella Miller (with whom he had 8 children: Erma Lucille, Harold Edwin, Dorothy May, Luella Jean, Vivian Annabelle, Liberta Marie, Robert Jay and Doris Ellen) in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, USA on Jul 19, 1910.

He died on May 16, 1963 in Salem, IA, USA and was buried in Salem East Cemetery after May 16, 1963.
