COOPER- BUNKER
A wedding which was a surprise to all but the closest friends of thecouple, was Saturday evening, Oct. 2nd at 5:30 o'clock, at the home ofRev. Weston, Mt. Pleasant, when Mable Easter Cooper became the brideofMerle R. Bunker. The impressive ring ceremony being used.
The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Cooper, and agraduate of the 1926 class of the Salem high school. Mable looked mostcharming as a bride in her graduating dress.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George w. bunker, a graduate ofthe1919 class of the Salem high school, and 1923 class of Iowa Statecollege, Ames.
Immediately after the ceremony the young couple went to the home of thebride, where a delightful three-course supper was served to the immediatefamily, and Mrs. N.O. Elliott, an aunt of the bride.
Mr. and Mrs. Bunker will live on a farm east of Salem. Having thewellwishes of their many friends.
