She had 5 children with Henry Stark , Jr: Larry Micheal, Dennis LaMonte, Harley Steven, Cheryl Jean and Kandi Lynne.
She died on Dec 21, 2002 in Jefferson Co Iowa and was buried in Lambirth Cemetery, Henry County, Iowa on Dec 27, 2002.

Vera Eileen Stark, 80, of Mount Pleasant, died Saturday, Dec. 21,2002, at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the LambirthCemetery, southwest of Mount Pleasant,
with Bill Maddy officiating. Friends wishing to sign the register bookmay do so from 9 a.m. to noon Friday
at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant. A memorial hasbeen established in Mrs. Starks name.
Mrs. Stark was born Oct. 29, 1922, in Morning Sun, the daughter ofJesse Wilmer and Lura E. Payne Nelson.
She married Henry Harley Stark Jr. June 10, 1943, in Las Vegas. Hepreceded her in death Feb. 23, 1989.
Mrs. Stark and her husband farmed in Jefferson, Van Buren and Henrycounties for more than 50 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, sewing, gardening andwatching the many hummingbirds
she fed. She was a member of Farm Bureau and was one of Jehovah'sWitnesses.
Survivors include three sons, Larry M. Stark and wife Karen ofStockport, Dennis L. Stark and wife Phyllis of
Elko, Nev. and H. Steven Stark and wife Darlene of Harrisonville, Mo.;two daughters, Cheryl J. Giberson and
husband John of Mount Pleasant and Kandi L. Stark-Reeder and husband Genoof Lockridge; 17 grandchildren;
23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lorna Payne of Mount Pleasant; andtwo brothers, Dorrel Nelson of Davenport
and Wayne Nelson of St. George Utah.
