Word has been received of the death of Mr. Rudolph Byers at Emboden,Ark. He formerly lived here and is a brother of Mrs. Margaret ShortandPerry Byers, of this vicinity, and an uncle of Mr. John Short of thiscity. He leaves other relatives in and near Salem. He was about 70years of age and had been a great sufferer for years with paralysis. Heleaves a wife and several children.
