The youngest of 9 children of Robert Bunker and Mira Dillingham, , Sarah was the great-great-grandmother of Jay Hannah, was born in Ackworth, IA on Dec 15, 1853 and married Benjamin Hannah (with whom she had 3 children: John Robert, Raymond Franklin and Sarah Anna) in Henry Co., Iowa on Apr 21, 1881.

She died on Jul 1, 1918 in Henry Co. Ia.

OBITUARY

Sarah Angeline Bunker was born December 15, 1853 , at Ackworth, Ia. Shewas one of nine children and youngest daughter of Robert and MiraBunker. Her parents died before she reached her majority.

Her parents moved to the vicinity of Salem in 1865, where she has sinceresided, excepting a year spent in teaching school and traveling inNebraska and Kansas.

After her marriage to Benjamin Franklin Hannah on April 21, 1881 threechildren were born - John, Raymond, and Anna - who are married and residein the home community.

Altho holding a birthright in the Friends church, she became an activeworker in the Donaldson Methodist church, it being a more convenientplace to worship.

She suffered a lingering illness of about two years' duration, butcalmly faced the end, which came July 1, 1918.

One brother, William Bunker, and one sister, Mrs. Rachel Collins,survive her, aside from the husband, three children and fivegrandchildren.

Funeral services were held in the Donaldson church, conducted by thepastor, Rev. J.E. Ward, assisted by Rev. T.S. Pool, of Mt. Pleasant,aformer pastor. Interment in the Friends cemetery at Salem.

Jackson Twp.- Grandma Hannah has moved to the home of her son Frank.

DEATH OF MRS. FRANK HANNAH

Well Known Woman Passes Away

After Several Months Illness.

Mrs. Frank Hannah, after several months illness passed away early thismorning in her sixty-fifth year, at her home about six miles south ofthis city. The funeral will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, afternoon attwoo'clock at the Donaldson Chapel nearby and interment will be in theFriends' Cemetery at Salem. Rev. Pool of this city and Rev. ward ofSalem will have charge of the services.
