He died on Mar 17, 1925 in KS.

OBITUARY
Nathan M. Hockett, son of Amos and Elizabeth Hockett was born nearSalem, Henry county, Iowa, March 4, 1850, where he grew to manhood andwas married August 29, 1869 to Ava Crosbie, with whom he lived happilyfor fifty-five years.
Converted in young manhood, he lived a clean upright christian life.Moving to Memphis in 1911 he took his letter from Salem Friends churchthe church of his choice and united with the Presbyterian church of thatcity of which he was a member in good standing at the time of his death.
Besides his wife, he leaves the following children: Celestia May Fraryof Brush, Colo. Lura Alice Davis of Fort Morgan, Colo. Minnie FlorenceCase of Fairfield, Iowa; Howard M. of Memphis, Mo., all of whom werepresent except Mrs. Case who is very ill in the Fairfield hospital. Healso leaves four grandchildren and five great grand children, besidesmany friends wherever he was known.
He died suddenly at the home of his son-in-law, Marshall Case, Mar. 17,1925, aged 75 years, 13 days.
Funeral services were held in the Salem Friends church on Friday,conducted by the pastor, Rev. L. Sams. Interment was made in the southcemetery.
