The 3rd of 6 children of Samuel Donaldson and Katie Bunker, , Ada was the second cousin twice-removed on the father's side of Jay Hannah, was born in Salem, Henry Co., Iowa on Apr 5, 1897 and was married 3 times - to Walter Cox (on Aug 27, 1916 in Salem, Henry Co., IA) Hollis Whiting (on Dec 14, 1960 in Washington, WAshington Co., IA) Hubert Fettermen (on Oct 21, 1979 in Trenton Twp, Henry Co., IA). She had 4 children with Walter Cox: Lillus Vivian, Waunita, Lavena Lee and Walter Wilmer.
She died on Jul 24, 1989 in New London, Henry Co., IA and was buried in Salem South Cemetery after Jul 24, 1989.

COX- DONALDSON
Last Sunday at 8:00 a.m. occurred the marriage, at the home of the bridesouthwest of town, of Mr. Walter Cox and Miss Ada Donaldson, Rev. R.W.Luce performing the ceremony.
It was a quiet wedding, none but the immediate relatives beingpresent. After a wedding breakfast the happy couple departed in theirFord on their wedding trip to the state fair at Des Moines.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Barclay Cox and is an industriousand frugal young man. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.F.Donaldson, a most worthy young lady. Both are held in high esteem bytheir many friends. They will reside with the groom's parents on the oldhome place. They have the best wishes of all.
