BUNKER - LAMPE
On Tuesday evening, October 19, 1926, at six o'clock, Miss Leah M.Bunker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Bunker of Salem, and Mr.Stacey J. Lampe of Mt. Pleasant were united in marriage at the home ofFrank E. Weston, pastor of the First Baptist church.
The single ring service was read in the presence of a little groupofwitnesses.
The bride was tastefully dressed in a wedding gown of flat silk crepe.She is an accomplished and attractive young lady, a graduate of Salemhigh school in the class of '25, and will grace well the home overly whichshe will preside.
The groom , a son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Lampe of this city, is afaithful and industrious young man. For the past three years he hasbeenin the employ of the C.M. Weir coal company.
Following the marriage, of which Max Jacobs and Miss Alma Lampe, sisterof the groom were the subscribing witnesses, the young folks motoredtoSalem, where a wedding supper was served at the home of the bride'sparents two and a half miles southeast of town. The colors were pink andwhite. Those present were; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Lampe, and Herman;Mr.and Mrs. John Holtkamp and children; Mr. and Mrs Lawrence Lampe andchildren; Mrs. George Jacobs; Miss Alma Lampe; Mr. Max Jacobs, all of Mt.Pleasant; Miss Frances Higgernon of Muscatine, and Mr. and Mrs. W.C.Bunker of Salem.
The many friends of the newly married couple wish them much prosperityand happiness in their married life.
