ROBERT B. ARMER
Robert Bruce Armer, oldest son of James and Maria Armer was born inPennsylvania December 7, 1857. he came with his parents to Iowa at about7 years of age. He was married to Mary F. Hunting Sept. 2, 1886 whopreceded him in death May 1, 1922. To this union was born one child,Margaret.
He had lived for about forty years in the Donaldson chapel community.His health began to fail him about four years ago. He foughtcourageously to hold off the hand of death. He was cared for duringthelast few months of his illness by his nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs.Walter Elmore.
He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Baldosier; one grandson, foursisters - Mrs. Ellen Long, Mrs. Mary Goldsmith, Mrs. Laura McFay of Salemand Mrs. Etta Harshbarger of Mt. Pleasant, besides hosts of relativeandfriends.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at Donaldson chapel,conducted by the Rev. R. L. Brown, Interment in the east cemetery atSalem.
