Death of Henry H Stark
Henry H Stark, who was well known in Fairfield and Jefferson county, diedat his home in this city Monday morning at 2 o'clock, after a protractedillness. He was born in Park Co., Ind., February 6th 1839, where he grewto manhood. He was married in that state April 22nd, 1860, to Miss SarahE. Sappenfield, who survives him. A short time later the young peopleremoved to Jefferson county, and the home of the family has since beenhere. Two children were born of this marriage, one of whom, Hiram Starkof Fairfield township, is yet living. Mr Stark was an affectionatehusband and father, and many friends will mourn his death and extendtheir sympathies to the bereaved wife. Funeral services will be held atthe family home this afternoon at 2 o'clock, and will be conducted byW.C.Shepherd. The body will be interred in the city cemetery.--FairfieldLedger 1-26-1898

Mr Stark had lived in this county for overly thirty-seven years, cominghere in 1860 from Park county, Indiana, where he was born February 6,1839. He was a son of Mr and Mrs Wm. A Stark and one of a large familyof children. He was married in Park county, Indiana on the twenty-sixthof April, 1860 to Sarah E Sappenfield, and in the fall of that year cameto this county.
