He died on Jul 25, 1969 in Henry Co., IA and was buried in Salem South Cemetery after Jul 25, 1969.

"BARN BURNED
The large new barn on the Clyde Bunker farm was struck by lightningduring the storm Tuesday night and completely destroyed by fire. All thehorses were saved but one dog ran back into the flames and was lost.Thiswas a new barn, just built. It is a wonder we don't have more fires,with almost daily thunder storms we are having lately."
