Samuel Walker
MORNING SUN - Samuel Nathaniel Walker, 87, died at his home here at 10 a.m. Saturday.
He was born July 24, 1869, near New London, the son of Charles T. [sic: P] and Ruth Ellen Fox Walker, and was a lifetime resident of the Morning Sun community.
On Oct. 25, 1893, he married the former Hattie M. Moyers, who died Apr. 7, 1918. Children born of that marriage and surviving are Elsie Walker, Benton, Ark.; George T. Walker and Myrtle Dotson, West Burlington; Maude Fortner, Detroit, Mich.; Samuel C. and William D. Walker, Marion; Paul M. Walker, Calif.; Leota Brumm and Clifford Walker, New London. A son and a daughter are dead.
On Mar. 27, 1920, he married the former Jennie Reil Hannah. Childrenborn of that marriage and surviving are Viola Van Houten, Corpus Christi, Tex.; Robert Walker and Marjorie Kimball , Morning Sun. A son and a daughter are dead.
