ROBERT WAYNE HANNAH

Robert Wayne Hannah, third child of Zylphia Byers Hannah and thelate John Robert Hannah, was born in Jackson Township, April 2, 1912. Hedied suddenly at Williamsport, Penn. July 4, 1944. He attended the county schools and the Mt. Pleasant high school. In 1936 he received the Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa Wesleyan College and the Master's degree, he taught in the high school at Jordan, Iowa.
In the latter part of 1942 he moved to Williamsport, Penn., where he was employed as a chemist by the U. S. Rubber Co. In 1943, he was married to Esther Fabel of Williamsport.
In his youth, Mr. Hannah joined the Donaldson chapel Methodist church. When he moved to Pennsylvania his membership was transferred there. He was active as a Sunday School teacher and young people's sponsor.
He is survived by his wife, four sisters, Mrs. Fred Perrenoud, Winfield, Ia.; Mrs. Dale Cammack, Salem, Ia.; Mrs. C. A .Hoffman, Minot, North Dakota; Mrs. H. D .Williams, Mt. Pleasant, Ia.; one brother Ben Hannah, Mt. Pleasant and his mother Mrs. Zylphia Hannah, Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services were conducted at Salem Methodist church on Monday July 10 at 2 p.m. Rev. Morell C. Robey officiating. The songs, "In the Garden"" Above the Bright Blue" and "Back of the Clouds" were sung by Mrs. Marguerite Pefferman, Mrs. Dorothy Payne and accompanied by Mrs. Maude Frary. Interment was in Friends Cemetery and pallbearers wereL. T. Frary, Chris Rich, Wm. Rich, Jess Frary, E. J. Becker and Dewey Pickard.
