Also check out open-perl-ide.sourceforge.net.  I have used this one quite
a bit and it is pretty nice.  The only thing is that it hasn't been
updated since Feb 2003...  On the plus side, the only bugs I have ever
experienced with it were with the most recent versions of ActiveState Perl
and some very beta modules not interacting nicely.

Give it a shot, you'll like it.  It's not as polished or as feature-full
as others, but it's better than the command line.
