To: All the owners of property in SID 162 which covers all of the Millard Park Subdivision

From: Ronald W. Hunter, attorney for SID 162

I have been instructed by the Board of Trustees of SID 162 to write this Memorandum to all of the owners of property in SID 162.

Recently there was a fire started in SID 162's park which burned the tree bark mulch directly under the dragon play gym. At about the same time, there was another fire set to some old lumber in the creek area.

Because of the lack of rain or snow, a fire alert has been issued for the Omaha Metropolitan area. A simple grass fire could quickly spread and could start a house fire, or, worse yet, a child could be seriously injured or trapped in a fire. The Trustees hereby request the owners of property in SID 162 to pay special attention to this fire hazard and also to caution their children about the problem. The Trustees also ask that if anyone sees a person setting a fire to call the Sarpy County Sheriffs office or 911 immediately.

Another issue that the Trustees would like to inform the residents of Millard Park is the growing number of forts and other devices which are being built in the creek area and the large amount of debris which is being thrown in the creek and drainage area. Please keep in mind that the creek and drainage area is not a dumping area nor an appropriate play area for children.

Also, the Trustees would like to inform all of the property owners that Millard Park has a website at www.millardpark.org. A copy of this letter will be posted on the website along with pictures of the areas of concern.

If any one should have questions or concerns, please contact me at 402-397-6965.

Sincerely Yours,

Ronald W. Hunter
