- Euphoria (http://www.rapideuphoria.com)
You can see from the mailing lists for wxRuby, and the Message Forum for Euphoria, that I've had quite a bit of experience with working with programming languages, and attempting my best to help thoes out that need help. Unfortunatly, this is about as close as I can come up with, to having any kind of Resume for someone to look at, to see my past coding experience, as I've not done Programming in a Professional Capacity. Mostly, I've done self-projects, and contributed to Open Source projects.
The major advantage with me, is that I'm a self taught programmer, every language I've worked with, I've taught myself how to use. I know enough about programing principals, that any language I am needed to learn, all I need to learn, is the constructs, keywords, and programming style of the language itself, to effectively implement programs that need hardly any attention, except for minor bug fixes here and there.
I've worked with all major Operating Systems, Windows, Linux, and MacOS X. My home system is Linux, but have access to Windows as well. I'm not an exceptional computer scientist, but I look at things from a point of view, of user interaction with a program, and how to simplifiy things. Most of my work currently is done with Ruby, and I will admit that I can do quite a few things with Ruby, then I could possibly with any other language, but I'm always open to learning new things, and new language constructs, cause I can always take what I learn, and apply it to other languages.
I do hope, that this will be enough to bring to your Mentor / Director of the facility, and see what the next step is. And I understand how things can go slowly. Any chance for me to get experience in the field, will only help me out further. If you have any questions, or comments, feel free to email me back.
