The child of Leo Hannah and Gertrude Mattern, , Maurice was the second cousin twice-removed on the father's side of Jay Hannah, was born in Keokuk, IA, St. Joseph Hospital on May 31, 1919 and had 2 children with Vada Francis: Robert John and Douglas.
He died in 2003.
My grandfather was an Officer in the Air Force stationed at Norton Air Force Base, which is now closed. He served in WWII as an airborn gunner and went on to become an ordinance and safety specialist.
