Edwin Chapman, an aged resident of Glasgow vicinity died Wednesdaynight of last week at the hoem of his nephew, Bert Humphrey, with whom hehas made his home for some years. Mr. Chapman was the son of GeorgeandSuzanne (Endersby) Chapman and was born June 14, 1853 in Glasgow,Jefferson county. He was 83 years, 1 mon. and 10 days of age. He issurvived by one brother, W. C. Chapman of Topeka, Kas. Several brothersand sisters and his parents had preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held in Glasgow M. E. church, Friday afternoonand the remains were buried in the Glasgow cemetery.
