PLAINVILLE - A former Zurich resident, Anna A. Joy, 82, diedWednesday, April 29, at the Rooks County Home.

She was born Dec. 5, 1898 at Hays, the daughter of Franklin M. andAnna M. (Weber) Joy. Her husband James L. Joy, died in 1968.

She was a member of the St. Andrew Episcopal Church in rural Hays.

Survivors include three daughters, Thelma Eichman and Norma Gagnon,both of Zurich, and Frances Eichman, Palco; one brother, Milton Joy,Hays; two sisters, Eartha Pugh, WaKeeney, and Stephana Barns, WaKeeney;nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael EpiscopalChurch, Hays, the Revs. Robert Ehlifeld, F. W. Litchman, and David T.Agnew officiating; burial in Mt. Allen Cemetery, Hays. Friends may calluntil the hour of service at Moshel's Funeral Home, Plainville. Memorialsmay be made to the St. Andrew Episcopal Church.
