At the family home, 1816 Third street, Fort Madison, Ia. Thursday,January 22, 1919, of pneumonia, Mrs. Bessie E. Wright, aged 31 yearsand2 months.
Deceased was born in Salem, Ia., and has been a resident of this cityfor the past two years, where she made hundreds of friends by her lovablenature. The news of her death came as a blow to her friends andacquaintances.
The surviving relatives are the husband, Lloyd Wright, tow children,Dale and Virginia Wright; the father, George H. Scarboro of Mt. Pleasant,Ia., and one sister, Mrs. Ida Knight of Lake Park Nebr.
The funeral will be held from the residence Sunday afternoon at 2:30,Rev. Ross officiating; interment will be made in the Oakland cemetery.

Word has been received that Bessie Scarboro Wright passed away thefirst of the week at her home in ft. Madison. Her death was the resultof the influenza. She leaves her husband and two small children. Shewas the daughter of Mr. G. A .Scarboro, who lives south of town, andwillbe remembered by many of our people. She married Mr. Lloyd Wright andfor some time have lived at Fort Madison.
