Trevor M. Kimble, Sr., 70, of Morning Sun, died Wednesday, May 8, 1996,at University Hospitals in Iowa City.
Born March 14, 1926, in Bethlehem, P)a., he was the son of CharlesW.Sr. and Carrie Ruth Kimble. He married Marjorie Walker on May 11, 1946,in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Mr. Kimble was a Navy veteran of World War II. He retired as aserviceman at Fox Appliance in Burlington.
He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church and AmericanLegion, both of Morning Sun, and was an originator and charter member ofthe Garden Club of Morning Sun. His hobby was cactus plants.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Becky Murphy of Cedar Rapids;one son, Trevor Kimble, Jr. of Morning Sun; five grandchildren; fourgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Kimble Jr. of Hellertown,Pa.,and Bob Kimble of Allentown, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one sister.
Friends may call after noon today at Hagle and Honts Funeral Home inMorning Sun, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
The funeral for Mr. Kimble will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First UnitedPresbyterian Church in Morning Sun, with the Rev. Jack Edmissonofficiating. Burial with military rites will be in Elmwood Cemetery,Morning Sun.
A memorial has been established.
