Esther H. Velott, 89, of 2465 Edercrest Road died Saturday Dec. 26,1998, at home after an extended illness.
Her husband, Arthur Larue "Frenchy" died in 1979.
She was a volunteer for the Williamsport Hospital, Easter Seals and theAmericaqn Heart Association.
She served on the regional board of directors of the formerCommonwealth Bank and Trust Co.
She was a member of the American Business Women's Association.
She was a member of the First United methodist Church, Williamsport.She had been a Sunday school teacher there.
Surviving are a son, Michael; two daughters, Suzanne V. Stroble ofLoyalsock Township and Marcia H. Cromer of Aurora, Ill. ninegrandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, at Spitler's, 733 E. Broad St.,Montoursville, with the Rev. Dr. Dennis l. Otto, her pastor officiating.Burial will be in the Montoursville Cemetery.
