The youngest of 5 children of Jonathan Bunker and Julia Collins, , Julia was the first cousin three-times-removed on the father's side of Jay Hannah, was born in Jackson Twp., Henry Co., IA on Sep 28, 1875 and, and was orphaned at the age of 14 following the death of her mother in 1875 and father in 1889.

She married William Brennan (with whom she had 8 children: Cecile Ellen, James Warren, Mary Elberta, John Robert, Esther Agnes, William Edward, Alice Florence and Joseph Jonathan) in Kingfisher, Kingfisher Co., OK on Jan 9, 1900

She died on Jun 10, 1973 in Bell, Los Angeles Co. Calif.
