COOPER- BUNKER
A wedding which was a surprise to all but the closest friends of the couple, was Saturday evening, Oct. 2nd at 5:30 o'clock, at the home of Rev. Weston, Mt. Pleasant, when Mable Easter Cooper became the brideof Merle R. Bunker. The impressive ring ceremony being used.
The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Cooper, and a graduate of the 1926 class of the Salem high school. Mable looked most charming as a bride in her graduating dress.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George w. bunker, a graduate ofthe 1919 class of the Salem high school, and 1923 class of Iowa State college, Ames.
Immediately after the ceremony the young couple went to the home of the bride, where a delightful three-course supper was served to the immediate family, and Mrs. N.O. Elliott, an aunt of the bride.
Mr. and Mrs. Bunker will live on a farm east of Salem. Having thewell wishes of their many friends.
