Notes: Emigrated 1771 to Conococheaugue, Franklin Co. Pennsylvania. Removed to Derry Tp Westmoreland Co., PA 1778. Removed to Nicholas Co. Kentucky 1793 with his four American born children, William having gone 1792, he died at his son James' 1817 .

He was a farmer, an elder in the Presbyterian Church In Ireland, PA and KY. Thro ugh his efforts mainly, Salem Church was organized in 1786 in PA near his home.

His pastor in Franklin Co. crossed the moun???? ???? ?????? ????? of Salem Chu rch.
