Married
A very pleasant affair occured at the residence of W.E. Collins in Jackson township, at high noon Tuesday, June 15th. It was the occasion of the marriage of his daughter, Pearl, to Alfred J. Denney of Lee county, T.S. Pool, of Salem, officiated.
About 75 guests were present, all of whom are willing to witness that a very excellent dinner wasserved. Many useful and valuable presents were left with the newly wedded pair.
In connection with the above was celebrated the wooden wedding of Wm. and Elma Bond. Quite a number of useful articles made of wood were presented, while Mr. Owen Garretson capped the climax by presenting to Mr. Bond, a pair of wooden shoes , of genuine Holland specie, manufactured expressly for the occasion
