Number one April 17, 1894 Statements of Service
Albert S Stark served in Capt John T Cambell's Company A 21st Regiment Indiana Infantry (This organization was hanged to Co H 21st Indiana Infantry in July or August 1861, and to Co H 21st Indiana Artillery January or February 1863, and to Co H 1st Indiana Artillery May or June 1963, and to Co H 1st Indiana Heavy Artillery January or February 1965) Albert enrolled on July 6, 1861 and discharged on June 21, 1865.
From his M ?I? to discharge he held the rank of Wagoner Private and the rolls show him present except as follows: August 8-August 31 1863 left Sick at Regimental Hospital; October 31, 1863 left sick at Camp Magnolia since August 29, 1863.
Reinlisted as a Veteran Volunteer January 1, 1864.
No accord found of any treatment

St Joseph News Press, St Joseph Missouri August 21, 1919
Alberts S Stark, seventy-two years old, veteran of the Civil War, died at 9:15 o'clock last night at his home, 802 Main Street of injuries sustained July 6 when he fell down a flight of stairs at his home, fracturing his hip. He was a widower, and is survived by two sons Charles Stark, San Francisco and Frank Davis, Fort Morgan, Colo and two daughters, Mrs Dora Bowman of Falls City, Neb., and Mrs Carrie Knapp of St Joseph. A grandson, Charles Reaves of St Joseph also survives him.
