Notes:
Was a grain miller per 1870 census
Mt. Pleasant Free Press June 25, 1874
An unusual accident happened at Seaton's Mill, eleven miles southeast of town, by which Mr. B. F. Seaton was badly hurt. A large power grindstone while being rapidly driven, bursted and a piece of it struck Mr. S. in the face. The bones of the face were badly crushed, and his face shockingly disfigured though no serious thoughts are entertained concerning his ultimate recovery.
